murs-1 USE CASES & FEATURES



Shipboard operations



Skid-landing UAVs and parachutes are not ideal for recovering on a ship. The small footprint and ease of assembly / disassembly of the MURS-1 allows for easy shipboard operations and stowing when not in use.



Rough Terrain / Tall Grass operations



The raised and suspended horizontal net allows you to avoid scratching your turret lens and damaging the airframe. It also helps avoid getting debris and dust on sensitive electronics and mechanics.



Scalability



The modular design of the MURS-1 allows you to scale the length, width and height of the recovery system to best match your UAV.



Emergency Landings



Often times payloads cost more than the airframe carrying them. Using the Mobile UAV Recovery System as an emergency recovery system can increase your odds of saving the payload.



Stationary, Rolling or Self-driving



The MURS-1 is designed to capture aircraft while stationary or can be free rolling to help disperse capture momentum. It can even be towed or configured to be self-driving to decrease capture speed and airframe stress.
